Qigong is a practice that supports whole body health, awareness and wellbeing.
It is for anyone wishing to feel more connected with themselves with an interest in learning how to soften and release layers of tension or areas of stuck or bound energy within the body.
Since discovering Qigong and beginning my learning journey within the Taoist Water Method tradition, I have found it to be an essential life tool. It helps me to stay grounded, enables me to release stress and gives me greater focus, insight and mental clarity. I am continuously intrigued that such apparently simple movements contain the power to open up the body, regulate the nervous system and give a real sense of flow, ease and release.
Qigong is proven to have many health benefits including improved balance, posture, body alignment and coordination.. The movements within the Qigong sets are easily accessible for beginners and can even be practised seated.
I have been practising Taoist Water Method arts since 2013 and achieved Energy Arts Instructor Certification: Foundational Qigong (2023), Taoist Neigong (2024).
I am currently offering classes at the Self Centre in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk (on Tuesdays at 10.45am) as well as 121 or small group private sessions by arrangement.
