Homecoming

‘Homecoming’ is an audio visual collaboration between myself, artist Laure Van Minden and trumpeter Chris Dowding. It has been evolving and shape shifting since its inception at the Hive in Ipswich on mid summer’s day 2022.

At its core are the feelings of returning home connected with a series of messages written by residents of the care home Laure worked at during lockdown.

Highlights on ‘Homecoming’s’ live music / art / visuals performance journey include a gig at the Vortex Jazz Bar (21 September 2025), a slot at the opening night of the Unconsumed art show at the Shoe Factory, Norwich (February 2023), a gig in a church in Marylebone as part of the London Jazz Festival (November 2022), and a debut gig at the Squash Blossom Festival in Ipswich at the Hive (October 2022).
